Developing a mindfulness practice may seem daunting, especially if this is a new concept or you're not used to practicing mindfulness. You may also think you must be a yogi or yoga aficionado to do it well and experience the benefits. Not so!

Regardless of where you are today in your life or career, the ability to clearly see situations and opportunities is an essential step to creating the life you want.

Mahara began her coaching career working for a global health and wellness company, helping thousands transform their lives. Recently she decided to pursue her passion for helping women and started her company, Mindfulness With Mahara.

Retirement from your career should mean happily living your dream, being clear in your goals, and being fully supported in that endeavor. However, the sad truth is many retirees feel anything but that. 

Nothing sparks the imagination of possibilities like the dawning of a new year. You may assume that our preoccupation with resolutions is rooted in contemporary Western society; but in reality, a fun fact is it started thousands of years ago with the Babylonians.

I remember when I met my Inner Saboteur and Diva. I was chatting with some new friends at a retreat and had an epiphany that, true to form, rocked my world. Perhaps it will rock yours too.

I have coined this unfortunate occurrence the "Career Contradiction Trap," and I've noticed that it's showing up more and more these days.
