#106 You Can't Heal What You Refuse to Carry

Season #3

Healing from grief and emotional pain isn’t only about time. It’s also about our capacity to stay present with what hurts instead of building a life around avoiding it.

We get very good at staying busy, being productive, distracting ourselves, intellectualizing what happened, or convincing ourselves we’ve already dealt with it. But avoidance doesn’t make pain disappear. It often keeps us carrying it in ways we don’t recognize.

In this episode of Mindfucks With Mahara, we explore a harder truth: healing requires a willingness to carry what is real long enough for it to move through us. Presence doesn’t mean drowning in pain. It means developing the capacity to stop running from it.

Because sometimes the thing extending our suffering isn’t what happened. It’s how hard we’re working not to feel what happened.
