#110 You Don't Rise to Your Intentions
You can have the clearest intentions in the world and still struggle to follow through when pressure, fear, or discomfort shows up. That gap isn’t necessarily a problem with discipline, motivation, or self-trust. It may be a question of emotional capacity.
You intend to set the boundary. Have the conversation. Stop over-functioning. Rest without guilt. Speak up. And you mean it—right up until following through asks you to tolerate something uncomfortable.
That’s where intention stops being enough.
Your intentions reveal what you want. Your capacity determines what you can actually live when the moment gets hard.
In this episode of Mindfucks With Mahara, we’re exploring the space between knowing what you want to do and being able to stay with yourself long enough to do it—and why that distinction changes the way we think about follow-through.
