Today I'll create a magical bridge that spans from here to there

One that beams and beguiles with an abundance of care

It calls to me softly, but I do hear it say,

"Come on, sweetling - today is the day."

It glimmers with colours I have never seen

It stretches before me, my ultimate dream

It sings a sweet song, a beautiful sound

It hits in my heart with an arrow profound

I take one step forward but to my great surprise 

I have moved inward, no tricks and no guise 

My beautiful bridge has paved the way

To a realm beyond now and what's normal, they say

A place my soul knows and feels right at home

The place of my dreams, heretofore unknown

"Oh my! Who knew?" I squeal in delight

All my life, I looked outward for the ultimate song

When my power, my strength, was within all along.
